Paul Klein (business advisor)

Paul Klein (Born 1958) advises corporations on how to derive more business value from their corporate social responsibility initiatives and community investments.

In 2001, Paul founded Impakt Corporation to help corporations improve the returns on their investments in the community. Since then, Klein and his colleagues at Impakt have helped corporations including: Canadian Tire Corporation, Husky Injection Molding Systems, Hydro Ottawa, McKesson Corporation, National Bank of Canada, Petro Canada, RONA, Staples Business Depot, and 3M to improve the business and social outcomes of their CSR and community investment programs.

Paul is the architect of the Impakt Valuation Tool, an innovative management tool that gives corporate social responsibility and community investment managers an ability to assess the value of their most important community investment partnerships as needed to increase internal accountability for these investments and improve the performance of these important relationships.

Klein has been a guest lecturer at York University, sits on the Advisory Council of the Queen's School of Business Centre for Corporate Responsibility, and writes a blog about corporate social responsibility for Canadian Business magazine.
